I found this old picture from 2008 that I never posted for some reason. Probably because I got hit by lightning shortly after taking it. (Actually, I think it was because i took this one right after and lost interest in everything before it.)
I also stumbled across an older lightning shot and spent some time re-processing it to not look so dumb:

New Orleans
I had the opportunity to visit New Orleans for the weekend: a quick whirlwind of food and drink to celebrate the Chinese new year. On Saturday, after a healthy (i’ll keep telling myself that) quantity of food and drink, I got a kind offer from a local to visit a spot he knew on the river with a good view of downtown. He said he enjoyed showing off his town — a sentiment I can relate to. I wish I had more time to explore.. Next time!
